Shadows Studio was established in the "Mile-High" city of Denver Colorado, in 1994, at the base of the majestic Rocky Mountains, an area rich in diversity, personality and lifestyles.
Candles have always held the fascination of man since not long after he discovered fire. There's something mystical and romantic about flickering candlelight that is unmatched by light from any other source. Add fragrance to that mystique and you evoke memories and awaken the senses! Candles have always held that same fascination for us so in 1995 we established our giant candle company and started creating custom giant candles. Right away we started listening to our customers and found out they have the same fascination! We have taken that to heart and strive to give you what you desire for your own personalized candle! Any candle on our site can be used in lanterns. Or, sitting on a base, indoors or outdoors. Floor candles have become the latest rage in the world of design.
Shadows is getting around the world and loving it!! Shadows has been to the Paris international buyers show, we have a set of giant candles in the main lobby of an up-scale hotel in Dubai, our candles are in unique boutiques in Monaco and featured in specialty stores around Paris. Also, we were very excited to be in the Cannes Film Festival in 2002. In April of 2008 we sent 31 12 inch diameter by 54 inch tall candles to an exclusive estate in California to be spread out around the outside of the magnificent home. We've been able to add Candle sets to the American Embassy in Sweden. Upscale hotels in the Caribbean have candles to add beauty to the atmosphere at their resorts.
